Conference and Audio Visual

If you are looking at organising an event on the islands for a delegation of over 800 attendees, then you would require a stand alone conference centre to host your event. You may choose from historical to modern or versatile facilities. These all provide state of the art conference and audio-visual facilities and are all well located in central parts of the island.

Mediterranean Conference Centre
 
Located on the periphery of the historical city of Valletta and overlooking the Grand Harbour, the Mediterranean Conference Centre is a 16th Century building formerly known as the Sacra Infermeria of the Order of St. John.
 
The Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) is undoubtedly firmly established as one of the most impressive conference centres in all of Europe. The Centre’s historic background and imposing architecture no doubt play a very important role in securing the position it enjoys today.
 
For over two centuries, the building that now houses the MCC was the Sacra Infermeria or Holy Infirmary of the Order of St. John. Constructed in the latter part of the 16th Century, this architectural landmark has had a fascinating history during which it was subject to various transformations as it changed to accommodate the needs of the day.
 
The Centre boasts a total of ten halls and nine syndicate rooms over an area of 7,000 square metres. The halls vary in size and are therefore suitable for a range of events. The largest and most impressive, Republic Hall, seats 1,400 in theatre style whereas the smallest, La Cassiere caters for 60 persons.
 
 
Each meeting hall is equipped with its own independent sound, lighting and climate control. Conference facilities include permanent installations for simultaneous interpretation for up to six languages, ADSL as well as audio / visual equipment. The Centre can accommodate over 2,300 delegates in all the conference halls.

Malta Fairs and Convention Centre
 
The Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) is Malta’s largest international conference and exhibition venue. The 7000 m² tension fabric structure offers a blank canvas for creating any kind of event, ranging from large scale conferences to gala dinners, a concert for 10,000 to motor exhibitions, fashion shows and the like.
 
MFCC has 3 moveable arches that facilitates the rigging of production and set infra-structure as well as a flexible decking system that can create a stage of any size. The venue also has the ability to create tailored seating configurations to suit every event.  The venue’s in-house resources, expertise and flexibility offer a complete support network that can deliver all requirements to the highest standards.
 
 
Hilton Malta Conference Centre
 
Located adjacent to the Hilton Hotel, in Portomaso St. Julian’s, the Hilton Malta Conference Centre [HMCC] is an excellent venue for prestigious large-scale meetings and events.
 
The conference centre boasts a variety of meeting rooms with the largest hall accommodating up to 1330 delegates seated in theatre style, as well as a tiered balcony with 230 seats. The hall is extremely versatile and multi-functional; the stage can be dismantled or set up according to the client’s requirements and an in-built screen facilitates back and front projection. The hall also has a lift, which can transport any heavy equipment or even a car right to the stage level.  Lights and other audio equipment are all state-of-the-art and readily available with the room hire.
 
The Centre also offers a multi-purpose hall and eight syndicate rooms [five of which offer natural daylight] spread on four levels, which are linked by escalators and lift, extensive pre-function space and ancillary space for exhibitions and catering.  A full banquet kitchen facilitates catering for all sizes of events.
 
The Hilton Malta Conference Centre is supported by the very latest technology, including high-end atmospheric lighting, high-speed internet access, a conference support team and a fully-fledged Business Centre. 
 
 
Eden Arena Convention Centre
 
Situated in St George's Bay, within the heart of Malta’s entertainment area and a stone’s throw from most of Malta’s five star hotels, the Eden Arena offers an ideal location for medium to large venue requirements.
 
The arena has the capacity of comfortably accommodating up to 5000 persons, making it an ideal venue for large conferences, fairs or launches. The venue’s strongest value is the flexibility that the vast empty hall provides. Its size and the ability to segment areas of the floor space allows for great flexibility to tailor-make the space to different styles of events. The venue’s high ceiling also allows for visual displays according to the client's own specifications, whilst the adjacent car park and direct venue access is very convenient for any audiovisual deliveries.
 
Each year, the arena hosts various international conferences, local exhibitions, and some of the world’s largest DJs. Catering at the arena is provided by the neighbouring 5 Star InterContinental Malta, making it an ideal place to organise corporate events.
